Clare Somers is a specialist Career Consultant and Coach with over ten years experience of working with individual and corporate clients in Australia and the United Kingdom.
After a successful career in Public Sector Management in Australia, where she operated at a Senior Management level, overseeing multi-million pound project budgets, Clare founded Compass Career Consulting in 2002, and quickly established it as a successful entity, specialising in bespoke career workshops for corporate and public sector organisations as well as providing one-on-one career coaching for adult professionals.
Since relocating to the UK in 2007, where she completed her Diploma in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring, Clare has continued to build on her experience, working with corporate and private clients on career choice and decision making, improving work performance and satisfaction, transition, outplacement, return to work, international career management and specialist coaching for accompanying spouses.
Clare has delivered services to hundreds of individual clients from a wide range of sectors including Finance, Arts and Entertainment, Education, Public Sector, IT, Health and Hospitality, Manufacturing, Trades and Media.
Clare's expertise includes running tailored workshops on career skills, MBTI and teamwork and advised on recruitment strategies. She has also run numerous career change workshops.
