Felicity Griggs

A senior MCIPD qualified HR professional, Felicity comes from a commercial background having originally worked as an engineer prior to re-training as an HR professional in 2000.
During her career, Felicity gained extensive experience in all areas of HR including recruitment, training and HR Operations, working closely with the owners of the business to develop and implement appropriate strategies to enhance both the Business and the career paths of individual employees.
Specifically, Felicity's early HR experience focused on recruitment and one of her major achievements was to lead a recruitment programme through which the business increased its' headcount by 65% in a notoriously tight market suffering from a significant skills shortage.
However, Felicity's passion throughout was in her ability to coach a wide variety of individuals, from Graduate Trainees to Directors, helping them to progress their careers and maximise their potential either inside or outside the organisation. Even now, her most valued achievements are those of individuals she supported in this way during her career.
In her last role as Head of HR, Felicity found herself in a position where she had to lead a significant restructuring & redundancy programme which necessitated holding numerous 1 to 1 meetings with individuals selected for redundancy. Whilst regrettable this experience, never the less, helped Felicity to gain a much greater insight and empathic understanding of the impact redundancies have on both companies and the individuals involved.
Following a period of maternity leave in 2009, Felicity subsequently decided that she wished to work more flexibly around her family so completed a Practitioner's Certificate in NLP and transferred her skills into the field of Career Coaching. Since then she has thoroughly enjoyed being able to use her wide ranging professional experience to support individuals going through transitional changes in their careers and to make the most of opportunities available to them.
